Caitlin Jennings, D.C.
South bay native, Dr. Caitlin Jennings grew up in Manhattan Beach, California. She had a very active childhood playing competitive soccer and eventually switched to running track and cross country at Mira Costa High School and Loyola Marymount University. Throughout her time as a student-athlete, Dr. Caitlin had her fair share of injuries which initially introduced her to the benefits of Chiropractic as both an acute and preventative form of neuromusculoskeletal treatment.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical/Occupational Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, Dr. Caitlin earned her Master of Science in Kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton. Her graduate assistantship opportunities in higher education and athletics lead her to positions as an Adjunct Professor and a D1 Assistant Track and Cross Country Coach at both of her alma maters for 6 years. As it came time to pursue her doctorate, Dr. Caitlin was drawn to Chiropractic because it would allow her to help others using holistic treatment strategies and educate her patients on how they can take preventative measures to improve their quality of life and longevity as they age. During her time at University of Western States, Dr. Caitlin attained her Level 1 Active Release
Technique (ART) certification and was selected to participate in the University’s off-campus residency program at a clinic specializing in rehab-based Chiropractic treatment including McKenzie, Neurodynamics and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) techniques. Since graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Caitlin has had the opportunity to provide well-rounded care to her patients with both active and passive care modalities. The added bonus of getting to share injury-prevention strategies with her patients so they can have autonomy over their own care, continues to drive her passion for Chiropractic.
Outside of treating, she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, hiking, camping, photography and trying to keep her mischievous cats, Luca and Finn, entertained. Dr. Caitlin and her husband are looking forward to growing their family very soon and will be welcoming a baby girl this Summer
